Obama Friend And Domestic Terrorist Denied Entry Into Canada

Barack Obama’s good friend and domestic terrorist, William Ayers, was denied entry into Canada.

Ayers was to give a speech at the University of Toronto, but was denied entry at the border because of a 1969 conviction.

Ayers, as you remember was a member of the radical group known as the “Weather Underground”, who accepted responsibility for several acts of domestic terrorism, including the bombing of a New York police station and the Pentagon.

Gov. Rod Blagojevich (D-Illinois) Impeached!!!

Approximately 3 minutes ago, Illinois House Speaker Michael Madigan announced that Illinois’ Democrat Governor, Rod R. Blagojevich, has been impeached by the House of Representatives. “On the question there are 114 people voting yes and 1 person voting no. The House does adopt House Resolution 1671. Governor Rod Blagojevich is hereby impeached.”

After January 14th, the House will have to re-affirm the vote because a new General Assembly will be seated prior to the Senate conducting the trial. Had the impeachment vote taken place long before a new General Assembly was scheduled to begin, there would be no need for a re-affirmation of the vote.

Illinoisans are not out of the woods yet. The Senate must still conduct a trial, at which two-thirds of the Senators must vote “Guilty” in order to convict the Democrat in order to remove him from office. That means, Blago will only have to convince 20 Senators of the 59 in the Senate, to vote “not-guilty” in order to escape removal from office.

The Illinois Senate is tentatively scheduled to begin the trial sometime during the last week of January and since the Governor is on trial, Illinois Supreme Court Chief Justice Thomas Fitzgerald will preside over the Senate.

This should be an interesting one, folks. I don’t see how he can convince even 10 Senators to vote “Not Guilty” as Blago’s populatity in Illinois is lower than that of the Congress.

Blagojevich becomes the first Governor in the state’s 190 year history to be impeached.

Tell me again why we nominated John McCain?

A friend of mine sent this video to me today and I thought I would share it with you.  Finally, common sense on the economy.

Those of you who may remember this blog when it began just under a year ago, will remember that Fred Thompson was my first choice from the word “GO”. My second choice was Mit Romney, also a great choice.  Unfortunately, we Republicans, saw fit to doom ourselves from the start.  But I digress. Have a look at why Fred Thompson would have won this election had we nominated him.

Defending the Urban Conservative From Hate Filled Bigots

Do you not find it hypocritical that the group of people preaching the loudest about tolerance and acceptance is the most intolerant and non-accepting, bigoted group of people on the planet? I am of course, speaking about the radical, left wing extremist homosexual groups.  And I do not include the “homosexual community” in that group. I am speaking about the the minority of homosexuals who complain the most about everything.

They recently released a hate video against the mormon church, and conservative blogger, Urban Conservative recently had the audacity to post the video, showing what the militant radical homosexual groups are really like. He didn’t even criticize anyone in his post.  All he did was defended Mormons as “nice people” while disagreeing with their religious philosophies. (Click here to view the Urban Conservative Post)

But, he committed the ultimate sin of showing what this group is really like by showing their video. Now this video was amazing. It showed members of the Mormon church coming to the home of a lesbian couple announcing that they were there to take away the couple’s rights.  It just gets worse from there. Have a look at the video below.

After he posted the video, the hate filled bigots started their screaming. One lesbian woman who identified herself as Alicia wrote:

“I am a gay woman and I can’t stand you christians.  you NEED to stay out of my life and our government.  you are still living in the past. please evolve the rest of society has….you are a bunch of judgmental and bigoted people; who can’t even live up to the morals that you force on others.”

While the last person in the world who needs defending is the Urban Conservative, I get sick to my stomach every time I see a group of people who preaches tolerance and acceptance practicing not what they preach.

I mean, just parse “Alicia’s” statement: “…I can’t stand you Christians. You need to stay out of my life and our government.” How much more bigoted and hate filled could someone be. She is saying that Christians do not have any right to participate in the government process.

After the California Supreme Court hijacked the legislative process in California, I wrote a column stating that I would probably have voted against a ban on gay mariages. I still believe same sex marriage is not going to be the end of society, but I would have voted for Prop 8 simply because the California Supreme Court needed to be put in its place and smacked down a peg.

Now, as I see these peace loving, accepting people storm churches around the country to disrupt their services, attack Christians and and Republicans, I would vote 1,000 times to ban gay marriage.

And their attacks were not limited to Republicans and Christians and Mormon’s. Perusing many of the left wing blogs run by gay groups, I noticed a central theme right after the election. They began attacking blacks and Hispanics referring to them as “N******” and “S*****”. You see, it was the the black and Hispanic vote that passed prop 8.

All it takes is losing an election to make and entire group go from “tolerance and acceptance” to hatred, venom and bigotry.

There will be NO special election for the vacant Illinois Senate Seat

Since Blago’s arrest on corruption charges, many Illinois politicians have been clammering for a special election to fill the U.S. Senate seat vacated by Obama. You can put money on this…There will be no special election.

First, the cost was originally estimated at $35M and is now being estimated at closer to $45M. But more important than that, Democrat insiders in Washington and Springfield let out a collective guttural groan the very moment the big Dick Durbin suggested it.

Democrats do not want a special election. For the first time in 10 years, Republicans would have a real shot at taking the seat, especially with a moderate to liberal Republican like Congressman Mark Kirk who fended off a strong challenge from the DCCC who secured hundreds of thousands  of dollars for the campaign of his democrat opponent in a district that is leaning heavily democrat.

There were three ideas floated in Springfield as to how this seat should be filled. The first one, and the one most preferable to the democrats, is to get Blags out of office and let Lt. Governor Patrick Quinn take over as governor and make the apppointment.  The second was holding a special election to fill the spot and the third was a hybrid of sorts. Allowing the Lt. Governor to make a temporary appointment until a special election could be held. The latter two plans were not even up for discussion by House democrats. Instead, they voted 113-0-5 (two vacancies and three not voting) to begin the process of impeachment. That seams to be the preferred rout of everyone now that G-Rod has thus far refused to resign.

EXTRA: Illinois House Speaker Michael Madigan Announces Special Committee on Impeachment

Illinois House Speaker Michael Madigan announced today that he is appointing a special committee to look into the impeachment of Gov. Rod R. Blagojevich (D).

“I have allowed Gov. Rod Blagojevich six days to resign his office. It would appear this morning that he has declined to do so.” Madigan said in a press release.

The committee will be composed of 12 democrats and 9 Republicans and will proceed with “all deliberate speed” according to Madigan.

Reportedly, one of the avenues the committee with pursue as grounds for Impeachment is the governor’s “Abuse of Power.”

Madigan has ordered to the Committee to begin working tomorrow and work every day, except holidays, until their job is done.

Illinois Governor First To Be Arrested While In Office

I have to apologize for this late post. I did it at about 8:00am on the day of the event, but I pressed “save” instead of publish. So, this is what I did on December 9th.

In an unprecedented event, Illinois DEMOCRAT Governor Rod Blagojevich became the first Governor to be arrested while in office.  Among the charges: Attempting to sell the vacant Illinois U.S. Senate seat.

In the early morning hours of December 9, 2008, The Chicago FBI field office contacted Blago by phone to let him know that agents were outside waiting to arrest him. He then donned his jogging suit and gym shoes and joined them outside where he was taken into custody.

Blags was charged with:

1. Attempting to sell the U.S. Senate seat formerly held by Barack Obama;

2. Threatening to hold up the sale of Wrigley Field unless the Tribune Company fired the editorial board that has been widely critical of him;

3. Threatening to withhold state aid to a childrens hospital if certain members of their board did not contribute money to his campaign fund.

That third one is the most outrageous and egregious of the three. Imagine extorting money from sick and dieing children. UNBELIEVABLE.  Read the FULL COMPLAINT HERE in PDF.

Everyone knows that it is the job of the news media to function as the prosecutors in Republican scandals and the defense lawyers in democrat scandals, and in watching the many nation-wide news reports, one would never ever know Blago was a democrat. ENTER CONSERVATIVE BLOGS.

Blagojevich was elected in 2002 by defeating Republican Attorney General Jim Ryan for the top spot. His victory came on the heels of a scandal involving an outgoing Republican Governor. Gov. George Ryan (R) Jim Ryan had no relation to George Ryan and even though, George Ryan was repudiated by the Republican Party and most Republican elected officials, the voters took out their anger on the entire Republican Party and elected democrats to four of the five constitutional offices and the State Senate which was previously under Republican control.

The fault for this current scandal does not lie squarely on the shoulders of Blago. The hard core democrat voters and independent voters who re-elected him in 2006 share as much of the blame as he does. You see, the only Republican left standing after the 2002 election was State Treasurer Judy Barr Topinka who challenged Blago in 2006 and during that campaign, Gov. Rod wrapped George Ryan around the neck of Topinka like an albatross. She couldn’t overcome even though the scandals started in 2004, two years before the election and the voters re-elected him anyway.

The Hawk Is Back!

First, I must apologize for my long absence. I have been campaigning very hard for some local Republican candidates for congress and state legislature. We were wildly successful.

I took about a half dozen calls this morning, from people asking how I was doing. Checking up on me after a bad night for Republicans. While I appreciate that, I NEVER EVER allow any election to determine my happiness and neither should anyone else.

Yes, Obama will probably have three appointments to the Supreme Court, but the three he will be replacing are either liberal or left wing extremists so it will pretty much be a wash. And yes, the election results do mean America’s surrender in Iraq and our first military loss since Viet Nam. And yes, after we are attacked again (as stated by Joe Biden) the U.S. response will probably be to get down on our hands and knees, apologize to the terrorists for doing whatever it was we did to make them mad and then begging them not to do it again.

So far, the Republicans still hold enough seats to filibuster and stop many of the left wing radical extremist ideas of Barack Obama.  Looking even further past that… 2010 will be the new 1994.

We may not be able to take over the House or the Senate in 2010 but we will pick off about 15 to 20 seats in the House and 2 or 3 in the Senate, unless there are retirements on the left side of the aisle. In that case, we may pick off more. But in 2012, we will have an excellent shot at picking off 8 to 10 more Senate democrats.

Of course, this is all contingent upon the Republican Party getting their heads out of their collective ass and finally acting like Ronald Reagan Republicans.

The factors that went into this miserable election year were these. First, ACORN registered over 1 million voters (a great deal of which were phony/fraudulent) thus allowing the theft of states like Indiana, Virginia, Florida and North Carolina.

Second, there were a great deal of new “young” voters under the age of 25 flocking to the polls to vote for Obama. These young voters voted with one thing in mind. Someone else should be responsibe for paying for their education, health care and ensuring them a job.

Third, Senior Citizens were once again duped with the phony claims that Republicans and John McCain will take away their Social Security and Medicare. This is a perennial favorite of the Democrats because it works every time, even though neither of the programs have ever been cut under Republican rule.

Fourth, the drop in the stock market and the mortgage industry crisis. This had an effect mainly because we, as Americans (since the first Bush Administration) have stopped examining ourselves and have this insatiable need to blame someone else for our own failings.

All these things combined and created the perfect storm, but what we did on November 4th is going to crush the life out of us and possibly take an entire generation to fix. If you thought these last few years were bad, YOU AINT SEEN NOTHING YET!!!

Putting Lipstick on a Male Chauvinist Pig

Was Barack Obama referring to Gov. Palin when he made the comment about “putting lipstick on a pig”? Maybe. Maybe not. After all, he did use the same comment when referring to Hillary Clinton during the primary.

I watched that speech over and over again and couldn’t imagine why in the good Lord’s name he would have chosen those words, given Gov. Palin’s acceptance speech and her reference to a pit bull. No, I couldn’t imagine why he would have chosen to use those exact words. I was at first outraged then perplexed. I thought there was no way he meant to compare Sarah Palin to a pig. But then I watched the low brow Neanderthals sitting in his audience, laughing uproariously at a joke that really isn’t that funny anyway and chanting “No More Pit-Bull”. They clearly thought he was referring to Gov. Palin and were very happy that he did it.

He has used that phrase twice during his campaign. Both times it was in reference to women and their policies. Why not say “you can’t polish a turd”? That would have been a funnier statement. Why not say “you can put a suit on an elephant, but it’s still an elephant.” Bottom line is that his poor choice of words can very easily be attributed to his poor character and judgment. It was huge mistake and miscalculation on his part.

His pattern of making these “innocent” remarks is possibly born from an unconscious disrespect for women, or maybe he is just so frazzled and confused that he is becoming unraveled because he can’t figure out why he is not carrying this election away so he lashes out with bone-headed remarks like this. Whatever the reason, it is very evident that he would have a place in his administration for women — Housekeeping, the kitchen and wait staff.

What Gov. Palin should do at her next speech is come out, wipe her lipstick off and say “there, now I’m just a pit-bull”.
