Supreme Court Makes History; Strikes Down D.C. Gun Ban

In a 5-4 decision, the United States Supreme Court upheld the 2nd Amendment by striking down the Washington D.C. ban on gun ownership.
Justice Antonin Scalia wrote the opinion of the Court saying that the Constitution protects an individual’s right to own a gun.
